MTX brake discs provide incredible braking performance for your motorcycle. All MTX discs are designed and manufactured with world leading technologies:

  • Precision CNC machining and laser cutting technology
  • Japanese stainless steel SUS 420
  • Replacement of original equipment
  • OEM design; clarification and borehole patterns

All MTX disc brake discs meet or exceed the original discs in terms of performance, your motorcycle disc can be replaced or upgraded by choosing from the available MTX series (not available for all models:

  • Solid Series Discs
  • Floating Series Discs
  • Wave Series Discs

Solid discs are constructed using a complete segment of Japanese SUS 420 stainless steel, then heat treated with HRC 36 + -2. Weight reduction and drilling patterns conform to OEM designs to improve braking performance and reduce disc temperature.

The floating discs are made from two segments of stainless steel which are riveted together to allow the outer section of the stainless steel to expand under extreme temperatures. The outer section is made from Japanese SUS 420 stainless steel, then heat treated to HRC 36 + -2 while the disc centers are made from steel or alloy. An alternative to stock large discs, floating discs improve braking performance by ensuring the disc is always perfectly aligned with your pads for perfect contact at all operating temperatures. The weight reduction and drill holes are designed to improve braking performance and reduce disc temperature.

Finally, Wave discs are designed to make your motorcycle look great without compromising your safety. The soft wave design limits uneven wear which can cause pulsation leading to necessary replacement. Some OEM motorcycle discs are Wave models while we have others which are designed as an alternative to OEM solid discs.
